A few days ago, one of the children at the primary school I work at asked me if I’m shy. I said ‘yes’. Upon reflection, I’m not shy; I’m creative. I come up with different ways — words, language, looks / glances, gestures, body language, to communicate things in different contexts / at different times to different people. Sometimes I adapt them. Sometimes I re-use them if I feel that they work.
